Sustainability

Sustainable manufacturing is a must to secure our future!

A UK study found that 43% of consumers were willing to pay more for sustainable clothing. 90% also said they were willing to buy a product that stated it was 'upcycled" or '100% recyclable'. Consumers are increasingly demanding more sustainable products, including apparel.    Sustainable clothing manufacturing takes into account present needs while also being conscious not to negatively affect future generations.    This means that manufacturers are to make their products in a way that minimizes their environmental impacts while conserving natural resources and energy.

Recycled Fibers

Recycled materials as reprocessed from reclaimed materials by means of a manufacturing process and then made into a final product or component for incorporation into a product. Commonly recycled fibers include polyester, nylon, cotton, wool and down.

Fabric Dead Stock

By using fabrics deadstock or making dyes out of used iron or vegetables, an eco-friendly clothing line can significantly reduce their costs. Deadstock fabric is a rip-off and is actually just available inventory fabric.

Free Energy

Installing solar panels is savings on electricity in the long run. Once the panels are set up, a factory can basically run for free. And, this is an added bonus as they could then be immune to power cuts.
